- Was alright. I think if i'd seen it before everyone hyped it I would have loved it. But now I feel like it’s a bit of a let down. That is problem with small movies you have to see them before the hype.

Infernal Affairs
- Is fantastic. The best cops and robbers move made in a long time. But I feel if I said that to someone they'd rent it and be disappointed. So I’ll say its ok so you can discover it for your self. I only saw the US cover at best buy today...What’s with the girl on the cover, is she even in the movie? Such a bizarre marketing decision.

Guild Wars
- Neat, but got boring to me. Not a fan of MMORPG's in general but I did enjoy WOW for a bit.

Do you like loud music? Yes it stops me from thinking.

Christopher Doyle is considered one of the best cinematographers today. But he totally wasn't born with it. People make it sound like he was always the shit. Watch his earlier movies. The armchair critic thinks the work is pretty amateur. I like that though, the man stuck to his guns and did a ton of movies took chances failed... and then became one of the best.

The other thing is once some one is considered good why people give them un-due credit. This goes for a ton of people. Directors and freaking game designers are so true of this. Make one thing good and they ride the laurels to make ten things that are horrible. But still you win awards and idiots, like me, still do see you talk about the future of what ever industry that you will inevitably be irrelevant from.

If you are consistent in like in good morals, work ethic, health because you take care and pride you will always get walked over in like. No, to be someone today, if that’s what you want, create a tragedy and over come it, be a failure and then redeem your self. Do drugs and then turn your like around. Hell you should force your self to hit bottom to climb up. No one gets a medal for being steady in consistent in life only if you are fuck up that saves your self. If you save your self all you sins will be forgiven. Someone should recognize people who don't get a break in life.

Wong Kar Wai

I am obsessed with his movies. Saw 2046- thought it was amazing. I really thought that Ziyi was just a pretty face but in this she stole the show. Tony leung is fantastic as well ( he always is). So his movies are about love and longing and I identify the real portrayal of that. I feel in his movies the charachters loved and lost and grew but still lost. They have this ultra modern yet classic feel, they well like you have seen this stories before but not like this, there is so much breathing room in his movies - they are so open lacking structure yet so consice in the emothions they make you feel- I really feel he making this shit up as he goes along (and he is). I don't like ashes in time, the movie is weak and wierd. Movies like this make me want to move into a big city even more, I love cities and stories of how major cities affect people in subtle ways. How paths cross and untangle and cross again. The people give and emotion give the city its warmth, you are forced together. I was promised exploration of all this in Collateral and kind of got some of it but then it derailed into lets go in a subway in LA and have an action scene. Who the fuck rides the subway in LA and it’s not a cab culture there. That movie would have been better in NY like originally scripted. Michael Mann is a great director similar to WKW but not as honest, to much of a man's man (retarded pun intended) not enough hopeless romantic with a cynical twist.

The Arcade Fire have a video?

There is something good about discovering a piece of art. With music it gets to me every time. I hear something I like or find it on the web through some review or random recommendation, and then kind it. For some reason I feel that I that it is my personal music, the band has only written for me to hear because no one else has heard it yet. So The Arcade Fire is like this. They are critical darlings and a few of my friends like them but the masses have no idea... and now they have a video on MTV. Well that’s fantastic just because they want to make money and be successful, in the Ashley Simpson vein, now I’ll have to listen to them on the radio and in some "feminine health commercial". Ruined they are ruined for me! I cannot listen to them any more. Can’t you small indie bands just remain small and indie? No one should hear you NO ONE! That’s when you write the best music. And when you have reached back into obscurity remember to send me a CD.

I want a famous face.

This show is awsome and crazy at the same time. Its interesting cause you usually hear about only women getting plastic surgery but the show has a fair share of men geting cut and looking wierd in the end cause they want to look like a celebrity. Its crazy, is this what insecurity about looks will push you to? how much of this is in california? all of it? most of it?... and the stupid show hooks me every time.
